We also put up the behind the scenes look at a photo shoot that I did for the “Kind of Big Deal” campaign.  I wanted to show a little more spice for this particular shoot and our model KiKi really brought the energy and attitude that we needed for the spot.  Chris got in the game to add some more depth to the shoot as well.  We definitely had fun while we worked and the awesome quality shows as the end result. You can see more images of the photo shoot in the gallery entitled “KiKiBad” later on this week.

Light Speedin’ Music Video – 3D Alien Creature

For the up and coming music video “Light Speedin” from local Detroit artist Juan Jynkz Lightyear McGlory and

Light Speedin 3D model of alien(Frontal View)

Light Speedin 3D model of alien(Frontal View)

directed by our very own Chris Eaton.  TSM’s 3D specialist Jersey Greene developed the alien concept that can be seen above for the music video.  The alien creature will be seen crawling along the desolate planet terrain as Juan Jynkz is walking about on the surface of the planet.  This concept is an original design by Jersey which you can see more of the steps he took in the CGI portion of the work page of the site or go to http://www.triplestrike.net/?page_id=316&album=4&gallery=12.  Jersey has an awesome visual for what the alien should of looked like.  The original alien drawing that Chris did was hilarious in comparison but honest in its own right.  Jersey fires up his skills and brings Chris’s vision to life in 3D spectacular fashion.  I speak for a lot of people when I say I can’t wait to see how hot the video will be and see all the hard work put into it come to life.

Kind of A Big Deal Campaign

These are images taken by Rome Randolph for the “Kind of A Big Deal” Ad campaign for Triple Strike Media.  These images are splashed about the internet currently on our Triple Strike page on Facebook.  It is one of the many attempts to advertise the firm and its business.  Featured in the photos are Jay Hawkins, Tara & Tonya Toma(Triple Strike Girls), and Kirsten Byrd(Triple Strike Girl#3).  There will be more ads to come and more Triple Strike Girls as well who will show off our apparel in sexy fashion.

A Hint of CGI

CGI 3D Marshmellow in spilled milk

Computer Generated marshmallow lying in spilled milk designed by Jersey Greene.

This is a small  example of what is to come from T.S.M. as we integrate computer generated images into our services as well as independent projects.

The image you see is a marshmallow sitting in spilled milk while laying on a floor.  This was designed by our very Jersey Greene, who is receiving a Bachelors in the Fine Arts  specializing in Game Design.  There will be more coming Jersey in the near future but we just wanted to give our viewers a taste of what is to come.

Double Trouble

TSM goes back to school and beyond with the T-N-T sisters. The sisters came to TSM to have some lively, intense, and fun pictures taken. On this shoot we went for a sexy take on school and graffiti. We used minimal lighting with these photos and also our location was at an abandoned school that is in the process of being torn down. The abandoned school gave off a great vibe with the T-N-T girls and TSM is sure to have you guys seeing double with these photos. The T-N-T sisters are now part of the TSM family and are sure to be lighting up your screens and monitors in the near future.

Sade Adu: Digital Painting

Digital artist Jay Hawkins created this image using Adobe Photoshop and a WACOM tablet pen. The techniques used were only four tools of the program; Burn, Dodge, Smudge & Blur. Over the course of a month, Jay put over 60 hours into this piece. Originally the photograpgh of R&B artist, Sade Adu, was black and white and contained a film grain from the aged photograph (as seen below). After lightening the photograph and increasing the contrast, he was able to see some of the smaller details of the image and then build upon them. The process of creating this digital painting was made like this:

1. Photo adjustments to the original photo
2. Sketches of the detail lines
3. Filling in mid-tones of different sections of the photo (i.e. face, hands, arms, etc)
4. After choosing the desired section to work on, Burn the shadows and Dodge the highlights
5. Smudge the shadows and highlights together to blend them into the mid-tone grey area
6. Using Blur tool, smooth out the details of the skin
7. Steps 3-6 are repeated for all the other sections of the painting
8. After the skin is smoothed out, details are drawn ontop

“I was trying to go for something that reflected what I see and how I feel when I listen to her music. The feeling of being mellow and serene always makes me think of being in water…so I placed her underwater with some light shining in from the surface.”

Mattie-Idell Shoot

TSM gets down with Denae R’ Graves and her new up and coming fashion line Matte-Idell for a photo shoot.  During the shoot with Mattie-Idell, it was a fun and exciting time and everyone had a ball.  There is promise to shoot together again in the near future. The theme for the shoot was graffiti, and we shot in several different locations to capture the different graffiti styles which compliment the fashionable pieces.
